Two distinct ways to tell the story of your wedding day.
Not an interruption to it. For fifteen years I have worked with couples across Cambridge, London and beyond who wanted images that tell the truth beautifully, without spending their day being directed in front of a camera.
I offer two distinct approaches. Both are documentary at the core. The choice of how your story is told is entirely yours.
No direction, no posing, no formal portraits unless a moment creates one naturally. I move through your day as a witness, building a complete and honest record of everything as it actually happened.
You will not spend an hour in a field while your guests carry on without you. You will not be asked to walk towards me and laugh. You will simply live your wedding day and I will document it.
Explore The UnscriptedDocumentary photography at the core, with relaxed portraits and family groups woven in when you want them. The best of both approaches, without the day feeling like a photoshoot.
A small window of natural, unforced couple portraits. A handful of key family shots, kept short and painless. Everything else, witnessed exactly as it happens.

I have shot in barns, country houses, city halls and vineyards in Spain. Every wedding is different. The approach has never changed: quiet, documentary, honest photography that puts you back in the room when you look at it twenty years from now.
I shoot in Spanish, which opens doors at destination weddings involving Spanish and Latin American families. If your wedding has an international dimension, that matters.
A proper conversation before you book. No hard sell, no pressure. I want to make sure we are the right fit for each other before either of us commits to anything.
From getting ready through to the dancing. No overtime charges. I stay until the day is done because the best moments rarely happen on a schedule.
All final edited images delivered in a private online gallery. Timeless, film-influenced editing. Nothing that will make you cringe in ten years.
A relaxed shoot before the wedding day. A chance to get comfortable in front of the camera and for me to get to know you properly before the day itself.
Handcrafted albums, parent books and fine art prints. Physical objects that outlast any hard drive or cloud storage subscription. Heirlooms, not just files.

"During the wedding it didn't feel like a ball ache when Juan asked for photos, it felt more exciting like 'what has he got planned now'. He engaged with everyone at the wedding and is a genuine talented bloke."
Jade & Lloyd · Bunny Hill Farm"His ability to capture not just the beautiful moments, but also the emotions and joy of the day was nothing short of magical. My wife and I both don't enjoy having our photo taken but Juan made us both feel at ease."
J & R · Notley Abbey"He has this incredible ability to blend into the day, cracking great jokes and creating a relaxed atmosphere so effortlessly that we often forgot we were even being photographed. And it shows in the final images."
