I take on a limited number of destination weddings each year, by design. It means the couples I shoot abroad get the same attention as the couples I shoot ten minutes from my studio, and it means the couples booked in Cambridgeshire never feel like an afterthought while I'm away half the season.

Going abroad doesn't change how I work, it changes the planning around it. You still choose The Unscripted or Classic Coverage as your approach. What's different is travel, timezone, language and the extra day or two most destination weddings need to actually work.
What a destination wedding actually needs
A language most photographers don't speak
I shoot in Spanish. For Spanish and Latin American families, that's not a nice extra, it's the difference between directing your grandmother through a translator and actually talking to her.
Time to arrive properly
I build in travel days either side, so I'm rested and already know the light at your venue before your guests arrive.
Coverage that understands the trip, not just the day
Rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, the days either side, the things that happen because everyone's already travelled and nobody's rushing home afterwards.
A limited number of dates
I take on a small number of destination weddings a year. If you want one of them, the earlier you get in touch the better.
No surprises on cost
Travel and accommodation are quoted transparently before you book, not added as a shock afterwards.

Destination wedding questions, answered
I take on a limited number of destination weddings each year, across Europe as standard. Weddings beyond Europe, or trips that need extra days, are quoted case by case.
Two packages. The Day is £3,000: full day coverage, ceremony through to the dancing, European travel included. The Full Story is £5,000: everything in The Day, plus an additional shoot day either side of the wedding, a separate engagement shoot, a leather album, the gallery upgrade, and travel and accommodation for the whole trip.

Travel is included in both packages. The Day covers travel for the wedding itself. The Full Story goes further and includes accommodation too, for the whole trip. Weddings outside Europe, or more than one location as part of the same booking, are quoted case by case.
Yes. The Full Story package builds in a second shoot day, whether that's the rehearsal, the welcome party, or the morning after, plus a separate engagement shoot. If you've booked The Day and want to add extra coverage, get in touch and I'll quote it directly.
I take on a small number of destination weddings a year, so the earlier you get in touch the better, especially once you factor travel logistics on top of normal wedding planning.
Yes. Going abroad changes the planning, travel, timezones, the extra days, but not the approach itself. You still choose whichever coverage style suits you.
In most cases, yes, if time allows. It's not always possible and it isn't a dealbreaker when it doesn't happen, but where I can get there ahead of your day I will.
