When your couple are this lovely, and they’re getting married at one of the best venues in Cambridgeshire, South Farm, you know it’s going to be a wonderful day. This one came with the added bonus of me cracking a rib, bruising my knee and my ego, and ending up smelling of pond.

I’ve photographed many weddings at South Farm, including a boho inspired styled wedding featured elsewhere, but every visit turns up new places to shoot, and I genuinely love a South Farm wedding. One thing stays constant: the team’s dedication, and the food.

I’d photographed Katie and Jamie at their pre-wedding shoot, and they smiled through every second of it, so I already knew this was going to be a wonderful wedding day.

So, Onto This South Farm Wedding

Bridal prep kicked off in South Farm’s gorgeous bridal cottage, one of the nicest, most spacious prep spaces I work in. It’s light and airy too, which makes for lovely bridal prep photos, and I love it even more when everyone is at the same venue, so I can flip between the girls and the boys during prep.

I became very fond of Katie and her never ending smile, and when I saw her in her bridal gown, she looked stunning.

A South Farm wedding takes you through the house on the way to the ceremony, so there’s a chance to stop in the elegant drawing room for a few portraits along the way.

I’m genuinely lucky to photograph weddings at South Farm. The team are brilliant, the food is excellent, and the grounds are stunning.
