Tom and Kat celebrated their wedding on a glorious summer day, with their reception at The Granary Barns, Suffolk. This was always going to be a stylish day, right down to their cat turning up in a bow tie for bridal prep.

Kat and Tom booked after meeting me at the Newmarket Wedding Show, and after their pre-wedding shoot I already knew this wedding was going to be relaxed, elegant and genuinely fun, and it was.

Bridal Prep

Bridal prep took place at Kat and Tom’s own home, a relaxed morning with Kat’s team and, memorably, their cat in his own bow tie. Bridal prep photos are easy to underestimate, but they cover part of the day your groom never actually sees.

The Ceremony

Although you can marry at The Granary Barns itself, Tom and Kat chose a picturesque church near Thetford Forest instead, with Kat walked down the aisle by her father.

I always love coming back to The Granary Barns for a wedding, it’s a stylish, genuinely well run venue with plenty of beautiful spots to shoot. The main barn especially, once it’s decorated to reflect the couple’s own style, takes your breath away.
